Description

No. 9 Back of the Inns is a former building of unknown use, now functioning as a shop. It dates from the late 16th century and was heightened in the 18th century. The exterior is rendered with a pantile roof and the building has three storeys and two bays. The shopfront is from the 20th century. On the first floor, there are sash windows with simply moulded surrounds, while the second floor features 10-light frieze windows. A fascia cornice completes the design.
