Description
This milestone, dating from the 18th century, is located about 50 meters east of Ridge Hill Stud. It is a single stone approximately 1 meter tall, featuring a roughly pyramidal top. The stone is carved with a sans serif inscription that reads "5 MILES TO ST ALBANS." The rear plate has been removed.
