Description
This milestone, located about 35 meters west-northwest of Kitts End Lodge, dates from the early 19th century, specifically before 1826. It is made from a single stone with a segmental top. An iron plaque attached to the stone bears the inscriptions: LONDON 12, BARNETT (sic) 1, ST ALBANS 9.
