Description
This barn, located about 15 meters west of Patchetts Green Farm House, dates from the 17th century. It features a timber frame and is covered with weatherboarding, topped by a decorative tiled roof. The barn consists of four bays, with a gabled threshing bay positioned away from the house. Lean-to additions on the long sides are pantiled to match the house. Inside, there are two trusses with angled queen struts and two with queen posts supporting the collars, along with through butt purlins. The walls include straight braces and braces from jowled posts to tie beams, as well as curved wind braces.
