Description

Little Patchetts is a house dating from the early 17th century, with part of its structure cased in brick during the 19th century and altered in the 20th century. The building features a timber frame, with the ground floor at the front constructed of brick. It has weatherboarding and tile hanging, with tiled roofs that include some machine tiles. The house is L-shaped, consisting of a one-bay hall and a three-bay cross wing, and it stands two storeys tall with a three-window front.

The entrance is located to the left of the centre and features a 20th-century rectangular bay, all covered by a bracketed hood. To the left of the entrance is a two-light casement window, while to the right are three lights. The first floor is weatherboarded and has two-light casement windows. There is a 19th-century external stack at the right end, and the left end has a tile-hung gable with exposed brick and a 20th-century lean-to outshut.

Extending to the rear left is the cross wing, which is also weatherboarded and has scattered casements. The original cross axial ridge stack is located on the wing at the rear of the hall, featuring a massive base with a moulded cornice that supports a cluster of five diagonal shafts. The rear gable end is tile-hung over brick, and there is a lean-to addition in the inner angle of the L. The interior has not been inspected.
