6/3 Norton Cottage, and Hearts Cottage -

2 houses. C19 or earlier. Timber frame plastered with a dark weatherboarded apron and steep thatched roof. A one and a half storeys, symmetrical U-shaped building facing S, each half a house with gabled projecting cross-wing, central chimney next to the wing, and door in the angle. Lean-to set back at outer sides. Front has windows to centre and 4 dormer windows. 2- light flush casement windows with large external boarded shutters. 2-lift casement to each floor of each crosswing, with 'WP' and 'SB' in an oval frame in the plaster over. Included for group value.
