Description

6 and 8 Baldock Road are two houses dating from the 18th century or early 19th century. They feature a timber frame set on a stucco plinth, with roughcast walls and a dark weatherboard apron at the ends. The houses have a slate roof and are two storeys high, with a block facing south, a two-storey rear wing at the northeast, and a two-storey rear outshot that is likely original. There are projecting gable chimneys. The first floor has three flush two-light casement windows, while the ground floor has two windows and two doors, including a Yorkshire sliding casement window. These houses are included for their group value.
