Description
Frogmore Farm Cottages are two houses dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the late 19th and 20th centuries. The walls have been largely rebuilt using brick, roughcast, and whitewash. The cottages feature an old tile roof and a rebuilt central chimney. The structure consists of a three-bay range with a slightly projecting cross wing to the right, which has a front bay that was rebuilt in 1897. The buildings are two storeys high with an attic. They have various three-light wooden casements and a gabled porch from the 19th or 20th century located at the right angle between the wings, along with a 20th-century lean-to porch at the left end. An attic window is present in the left gable. Inside, some timber framing can still be seen in the walls, along with main trusses and slender wind-braces.
