House, now 2 houses. C16, refronted in early C18. Timber frame plastered but framing exposed in passage to S. Painted brick sill. Steep old red tile roofs. 2 storeys house with crosswing at S extending to rear but with front jetty cut back to wall line. No 20 on right has 2 upper floor windows, a canted bay window on the ground floor with the door on the left up 2 steps. No 22 on the left has one window to each floor and a higher ground floor level with 4 steps up to the door adjacent to the right hand side of the lower window. Flush box sash windows in moulded surrounds with 6/6 panes, that on the ground floor of No 20 larger. Small paned casements in the repaired bay. More elaborate 6-panel fielded door to No 20 in moulded doorcase with flat hood on shaped brackets. 6-panel flush door to No 22 in moulded doorcase sharing a small hood with the adjoining window. Exposed timber framing on S of close studding with tension bracing and cut-off jetty support. Large rear chimney and weatherboarded gable to rear wing. Slated 2-storeys rear lean-to C19 extension.
