Description

The central range of former malthouses at the junction with South Street, built in 1897, is a notable red brick structure featuring dark blue brick banding and a slate roof. This four-storey building has a west end facing the street that includes three triangular dormers. The higher central block is distinguished by recessed panelled walls and two slated roof ventilators. The rear section of the building has a triple blind arch on the east wall, with windows present on each floor. This malthouse is included for its group value.
