Description

Cemetery Lodge, built in 1855 by G E Pritchett, is part of a group that includes cemetery chapels. The building features flint walls with limestone dressings and has pitched slate roofs arranged in a cruciform plan, topped by a central, four-square brick chimney stack. It stands at one and a half storeys tall and is designed in the Tudor style. A lean-to buttressed porch is located on the north-west side, creating an asymmetrical effect that contrasts with the chapels. The lodge is included for its group value.
