Description
The British Legion Club is an 18th-century building that was refaced in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of painted stucco with a slate mansard roof. The building has two and a half storeys and five windows. A modern central porch in the Doric style has been added. Two-storey canted sash bays are located at the ends of the elevation, featuring architrave window surrounds. The original sash windows remain in the central south-facing windows. Three open pedimented dormers are present. The building is included on the list for its group value.
