Description

The Links is an early 18th-century house with a painted brick front, built onto a 16th and 17th-century timber-frame structure. It is two storeys high with a four-window front. An off-centre door is sheltered by a Queen Anne-style canopy featuring acanthus scrolls and a soffit with lozenge panelling. A late 19th-century door, window reveals, and three ground-floor canted window bays have been added. The building has a continuous, early 18th-century panelled eaves. The interior reveals significant exposed timber framing, and includes re-used scratch-moulded panelling on the west ground floor. A blocked 16th-century mullioned window is visible on the first floor.
