Description
The south range of the former malthouses, located at the junction with South Street and known as Hopper Engineering, was built in 1856. It features red brick construction with a weatherboarded west end and a slate roof. The building stands three storeys tall and has blank, round-headed arcading consisting of 10 bays on its side walls. There is an overhanging sack hoist and three sash windows on the west side, along with two flat top ventilators towards the east.
