Description

This is a late 18th or early 19th century building on the south side of Hockerill Street. It has a steep, mansard roof covered with old red tiles. The building is two storeys high. A door is set back within a recess and has a bracketed hood above it. The ground floor has sash windows, and the first floor has three evenly-spaced sash windows. A projecting brick chimney stack is located on the west side of the building. The building may have originated as a timber-framed structure. A two-storey, weatherboarded lean-to extends from the rear. It is included in the list for its contribution to the group value of surrounding buildings.
