Description

This is a barn located 35 metres north of Greens Farmhouse, dating from the mid-17th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and covered in black weatherboarding, topped with a gabled slate roof. The barn consists of five bays and features a low midstrey that is off-centre on the south side, along with large doors on the north elevation. There are lean-to extensions on the south wall, one of which has a slate roof. The frame is well made without jowls, featuring arch braces to the tie beams and a curved 'V' strut roof with joggled side purlins. The wall bracing is straight and interrupts the wall studs.
