Description

This is a 17th-century barn located to the southeast of Greens Farm House in Newdigate. The barn features a timber frame set on a brick plinth, with weatherboard cladding and a plain tiled roof. It comprises five framed bays and has double doors positioned to the right of the center at both the front and rear, along with an additional door at one end. Inside, the barn boasts a queen-strut clasped purlin roof, which includes curved tension bracing at the angles and some arched windbracing in the roof structure.
