Description

The stable at Green's Farm is a 16th-century building located in Newdigate. It is timber framed with 17th-century brick infill on the left and right sides of the ground floor, as well as in the pentice extension to the left. The exterior is weatherboarded below. The roof is plain tiled, hipped with a gablet to the left and truncated to the right. The stable has two storeys, featuring a loft door to the right of the centre above the stable door entrance. There is one window on the ground floor to the left and another in the pentice. Inside, an old exterior wall is preserved on the left, resting on an ironstone block plinth. The interior also retains arched bracing and two former windows.
