Description

This stable, dating from the 17th century, is located 15 meters northeast of Green Farmhouse and is aligned north-south. It was designed for two horses and consists of two bays. The structure is timber-framed and weatherboarded, with a pantiled roof that was formerly thatched. On the west side, there are boarded stable doors. High in the north gable, there are entry holes for a pigeon loft. The stable retains much of its original 17th-century studding and clasped-purlin roof, although the south gable has been rebuilt in 20th-century masonry. This building is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
