Description
This stable, dating from the late 17th century or 18th century, is located 15 meters north of White House Farmhouse and is aligned northwest to southeast. It consists of about four bays and is primarily timber-framed, with most of the exterior covered in weatherboarding and the east side plastered. The roof is made of sheet asbestos, which replaced the original thatch. The stable features a 19th-century boarded door and a pair of 20th-century boarded garage doors. The framing is likely from the 18th century and includes much reused timber. The lofts have mostly been removed, and it has a clasped purlin roof. This building is included for its group value.
