Description
Bridge Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 16th century. It features a two-storey block on the left, a one-storey-with-attics hall range at the center that may be of earlier origin, and another block to the right. The building is timber-framed and plastered, with the left block having a long-wall jettied design towards the street, supported by curved brackets underneath. The roof is covered with Roman pantiles, and the center block includes gabled dormers fitted with late 20th-century casements. On the left side, there is a plastered gable chimney with a mid-20th-century red brick shaft, and an axial chimney with a 20th-century shaft made of gault brick. The farmhouse also features late 20th-century casements and a panelled entrance door. The interior has not been examined.
