Description
This stable, located approximately 15 meters southeast of Green Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century and was altered in the early 20th century. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone and yellow brick, topped with Collyweston slate and pantile roofs. The building has a rectangular plan and is a single-storey structure with a hayloft above. To the left is a single-storey outbuilding. The stable features three bays with double doors on the right and an early 20th-century plank door on the left, both set under wood lintels. There are canted vertically glazed casement windows under wood lintels, and a first-floor window above that has been blocked. A central brick stack is present. The outbuilding to the left has been altered in the early 20th century. The interior has not been inspected. This stable is included for its group value.
