Cottage. Late C16. Timber framed and plastered with studwork exposed on north elevation. Of one storey and attics with half-hipped thatched roof and rebuilt concertina type stack off-centre on the ridgeline. Eyebrow dormer on front elevation and C19 casement windows with cross-pattern glazing bars. Later stack against east flank elevation. Possible late open-hall with stop chamfered bridging joists and date plaque/support block with 'RM637' and stop chamfered sides. Roof has arch braced side purlins and internal wall braces are virtually straight. East bay is former parlour/solar. RCHM 28.
