Description

The Shambles is a house dating from the early 17th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and has a plastered exterior. The building is two storeys high and features a gabled thatched roof with a central ridge-line stack. There is a 20th-century lean-to porch at the center, and the windows are 19th-century casements that have a cross pattern of glazing bars in each light. At the rear, there is a slated lean-to and a gable pentice board.
