Description

No. 58 West Street is a house dating from the early 19th century. It features red Flemish-bond brickwork and a Welsh slate Mansard roof behind a plain parapet. The building has two storeys and includes one tall ridgeline stack. On the upper floor, there are two 20th-century flat-roofed dormers with 6-pane, 2-light casements. The first floor has one square flush, small-pane double-hung sash window with a rubbed brick arch on either side of a narrower, similar window. The ground floor features one similar double-hung sash window, a central 20th-century pedimented doorcase supported by panelled pilasters, and a segmental-headed carriage arch leading to the yard. The interior has not been inspected.
