Description

Wren Cottages is a row of three cottages that date from the 17th century or earlier, with later alterations and additions. The cottages are timber framed, featuring a weatherboarded rear and a 19th-century red brick facing, along with plastered and weatherboarded returns. They have red plain tiled roofs and three rear gables. The buildings are two storeys high and have a four-window range, mostly consisting of small paned vertically sliding sash windows. There is a 19th-century shop bay on the ground floor to the right, and the cottages have three panelled doors, with the doors on the right and left having top lights.
