Description

Kingsleigh House is a building that dates from the 18th century and has been altered over time. It is constructed of red brick and features a red plain tiled roof, with chimney stacks made of red brick on both the right and left sides. The house has three storeys and includes a parapet and a band at the first floor level.

The façade consists of a five-window range with vertically sliding sash windows: six panes on the second floor, twelve panes on the first floor, and plain windows on the ground floor, all topped with gauged brick arches. The central entrance has a six-panelled door with a traceried round-headed fanlight above it. There is a leaded light frieze displaying the house name, along with reveal panels and a fluted surround. The entrance is supported by fluted columns beneath an open pediment that features a dentilled soffit.

A plaque on the building notes that it stands on the site of The Bull Coaching Inn and Bull Baiting Garden, which operated from 1560 to 1791.
