Description
Amigo's Restaurant, originally a school, was built in 1863. It features red brick construction with gault dressings and grey slate roofs. The building has a central section flanked by two-storey gabled crosswings on the right and left, with a lower range and gable to the left. The gables have decorative bargeboards. The façade includes a Gothic-style arrangement of windows: a series of tall, pointed two-light windows with two centre arches, except for the second window from the left, which is a square two-light window. There are also two centre arched doorways leading to the gabled crosswings, with vertically boarded doors and pointed lights above. A plaque on the central range indicates that it was the Boys National School, rebuilt in 1863.
