Description

The buildings at 23 and 25 Fore Street date to 1835. They comprise a long range constructed of stock brick laid in a Flemish bond pattern, featuring a ridged and gabled roof covered in slate. The first storey has six sash windows, with a blind central sash window displaying the date. All the windows are set within segmental arches. A central, round-arched access point is present on the ground storey, along with two shop fronts and a central panelled door topped with a radial fanlight, flanked by matching sash windows also within segmental arches. The buildings are included on the list for their group value.
