Description

This is an early to mid-19th century range of buildings on the north side of Market Street. The buildings are constructed of red brick in a combination of English and Flemish bond, and are two storeys high. They have a ridged and gabled roof with dentilled eaves and peg-tile cladding. Red brick chimney stacks are located at each end and centrally along the length of the building. The returns are pilastered. The first storey has three sashes with Regency margin bars. Around 1900, shop windows were installed on the ground storey at the west end. The centre has a door with fielded panels, and a pair of Regency sashes set under a segmental brick arch.
