Description
The Marshals Public House dates from the early 19th century. It is a three-storey, three-window range building with solid, likely brick, walls rendered externally. The rear of the left side wall is slate-hung. The roof is slate-covered with red ridge tiles, and there is a red brick chimney on the left gable wall. The ground storey has a late 20th-century facade. The upper storeys feature eight-paned sash windows, with a narrower blind window centrally on each storey. A wooden board with a moulded edge is situated below the eaves. The building is included on the list for its group value.
