Description

This is a 16th-century house located in Tye Green. It is a timber-framed building, originally comprising a two-storey range with a central chimney stack and a single bay. A further bay was added to the east. The front elevation is clad in painted weatherboard and features a range of four modernised casement windows on the first floor. A front door is located on the right, with a wide set of three casements roughly central on the ground floor. All the casements were originally multi-paned. A two-storey extension is present on the left, with a pantiled ridged roof and black weatherboards.
