Description

Knights Manor is a 16th-century house located on East Lane in Dedham. It is a two-storey, three-bay building with exposed timber framing and a side-girt. A prominent central chimney stack rises from red brick, featuring four octagonal shafts. The main entrance is centrally positioned on the ground storey, flanked by sets of five-light modern casement windows. Five-light casement windows are likely in their original position above the door; a modern porch has been added to the entrance. Further tripartite windows with four-light centres and three-light ears are located on either side of the first storey. The roof is ridged, gabled, and covered with peg tiles.
