Description

Appletree Cottage is a 16th century house located in Dedham Heath. It is a single-storey building with attics, featuring plastered walls and a ridged, gabled roof covered in peg tiles. A red brick chimney is centrally positioned, and a gabled dormer window is located at the front left. The doorway is off-centre, and a modern gabled porch has been added. There are two pairs of multi-paned casement windows to the left of the entrance and one pair to the right, all set beneath segmental arches. The main structure of the house is built with painted brick.
