Description
Deans Farmhouse is a late 16th-century house that was occupied by the Heath family in the early 17th century. The building has two storeys and an attic, featuring seven windows and two gabled dormers. It is constructed from chalk and faced with flints, which were once painted, and has stone quoins. The gable is located at the north end of the front. At the south end, there is a gabled projection that contains the staircase, adorned with carved bargeboards and a pendant. The windows are horizontally-sliding sash windows with intact glazing bars. There are modern additions at the back of the house.
