Description

The barn at Goldings Farmhouse, dating from around 1500, has an unclear original function and designation. It is a timber-framed structure that is six bays long, featuring weatherboard cladding and a ridged, gabled roof covered with corrugated iron. At the north-west end, there is a stud partition, and the building has jowled posts of single-storey height. The roof is supported by a queen-post design with side-purlins and includes in-pitch wind-bracing.
