Description

The barn at Golds Farm is a 16th-century timber-framed structure that was reclad in the late 18th century to early 19th century. Its exterior features stone with brick dressings and a steeply pitched slate roof. The central area has recessed double doors for cart access. To the left, there is a doorway that has been blocked in red brick, while to the right, there is a stable door, a window, and an opening leading to the hayloft. Inside, the barn retains its original 16th-century three-bay design up to the tie beam level, showcasing gunstock jowled posts and arched braces.
