Description

Mayes Cottage is a 16th century house featuring two bays and two storeys. It is constructed with a timber frame and plaster, and has a weatherboarded south end. The cottage has had recent extensions added to the south and west. The windows are leaded wooden casements that are placed irregularly. A red brick chimney stack is located at the center of the building. The roof is ridged and gabled, covered with peg tiles, and the framing is visible inside.
