Description
Fountains Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around 1700. It consists of two parallel ranges that are two storeys high, framed in timber and plastered, with a white weatherboarded front wall. The roofs are ridged and gabled, covered with peg tiles, and there are four red brick chimney stacks on the gables. The front elevation features two semi-hexagonal bow windows on either side of the central front door, which is topped by a hood supported on brackets. The roofs of the bow windows are also peg-tiled. On the first storey, there is a range of three sash windows in exposed boxes located beneath the eaves.
