Description

39 Sun Street is a building that dates back to the 16th century but was refronted in the late 19th century. It features a timber frame with a stucco front that has a mock timber framework appearance. The building is two storeys high and has two roof gables. A wide casement window with mullions and a transom is present, along with an ogee arched recessed porch that has a narrower casement window above it. Inside, the building has visible beams, and the timber framework can be seen on the side elevation. The roof at the back is covered with old tiles and is continuous with the adjacent property at No 41.
