Description

Nos 24A and 26 on Sun Street date back to 1767 and are located on the north side of the street. The building features a 19th-century front made of colourwashed brick and has a hipped roof covered with Welsh slate, which includes a wide eaves cornice. There is a central carriageway that displays timber framework with whitewashed brick nogging. The building is two storeys high and has three first-floor windows, consisting of two casements and one sash, all set under flat arches. On the ground floor, there are two 19th-century shop fronts, one of which has been altered. The back roof slope has been covered with modern interlocking tiles. This building is included for its group value with Nos 24 to 28 (even) and No 24A.
