Description

The building comprises Nos. 22 and 26 to 40 (even), Chapel Street. Dating to the early 19th century, it is constructed of red brick with low-pitched Welsh slate roofs. Generally, it has one window per floor, with predominantly sash windows. Glazing bars are present throughout, except to the ground floor of No. 38. Casement windows are found to the ground and first floor of No. 32. Nos. 22, 26, 30, and 32 have three storeys, while the remaining properties have two storeys. The windows have rusticated stucco surrounds, and the doorways are flanked by reeded surrounds terminating in cornice hoods. Nos. 22 and 26 to 40 (even) form a group.
