Description

The stone wall to the Deanery Garden, built in 1781, is located on the southwest side of The Butts. This wall is part of the original site of the King's Grammar School. It features medieval masonry, including one weathered buttress and a Gothic arched doorway. The wall, along with the County Library Headquarters, Nos 2 to 14 (even), The Old Deanery, and The Glebe House, forms a cohesive group of historic structures.
