Nos 24A and 25 on St Nicholas Street are 17th century buildings. They feature an overhanging first floor at the rear with exposed rounded joist ends. The structure is finished in plaster and has a roof covered with pantiles. The front, which is made of 19th century grey brick and partially painted, includes three 2-light sash windows with glazing bars. The gabled end to the west has a 2-light casement window on the first floor and a wide 2-light sash window with glazing bars on the ground floor. The entrance, located at the splayed angle of the ground floor, leads to a shop with a wooden case that has an enriched entablature.
