Description
Number 5 on St Nicholas Street is an early 19th-century building that stands three stories tall and features three windows, including one above a high vehicle entrance. The building has flush frame sash windows, with the top windows still retaining their glazing bars. The exterior is finished in plaster and covered with pantiles. The mid-19th-century shop front includes decorative scroll consoles, central double doors, and a fanlight. To the left, there is a splayed two-storey wing that has a similar shop window on the ground floor and another on the first floor. This building is part of a group that includes numbers 2 to 6A.
