Description
This is an 18th century building, possibly with earlier origins, that was refaced in the 19th century. The front is stuccoed, concealing a pantiled roof behind a parapet. The rear elevation is red brick, and portions of the original timber frame are visible in the waggon way on the left side. The building is two storeys high with an eaves band and three sash windows on the first floor, set within reveals. It has a modern shop front. The building is listed for its contribution to the wider group value of properties in the street. Numbers 24 to 28 (even) and 24A form that group.
