Description

This is probably a timber-framed building that was refaced in the 18th century. It is a two-storey structure. The ground floor is stuccoed, while the first floor is faced with painted brick. The roof is tiled with one hipped dormer window. Two 19th-century sash windows are set within moulded architraves. An overhang features an 18th-century moulded bressumer. The right-side doorcase includes a rectangular fanlight, two unusual console brackets, pilasters, and a four-panelled door. The rear elevation is brick. This building is part of a group that includes numbers 16A to 20 (consec), numbers 22 and 23.
