Description
This is a timber-framed house, largely refaced in the 18th century. It is three storeys high with attics, and has a gabled end. The roof is tiled, with fishscale tiles covering the upper floors and brick on the ground floor. A projecting overhang is supported by wooden brackets. The upper floors have sash windows with moulded wooden architraves and wooden sills; the ground floor has a single double-hung sash window. A 18th-century doorcase on the left side features a moulded architrave and a six-panelled door. The interior includes 18th-century panelling, and a round-headed recess in the front room. The building is part of a group value with Nos 3 to 12 on the same street.
