Description
The Sun Inn, located at No 21 on Sun Street, dates from 1767 and features a front made of stucco, likely from the 18th century or early 19th century. The building has an old tiled roof and consists of two storeys and an attic. On the first floor, there are two nearly flush sash windows with glazing bars, while the ground floor has two modern windows, one of which retains a 19th-century ventilating grill. To the left, there is a single-storey lean-to wing with a flush sash window that also has glazing bars. The entrance is framed by two Doric door surrounds that include pilasters, entablatures, and pediments. The side and back elevations are partly covered with painted weatherboarding, and there are two gabled casement dormers.
