Description

29 High East Street is a building from the 16th or 17th century that was refronted in the early 19th century. It features a stucco front over part timber-frame construction and has two storeys. The façade includes two sash windows with glazing bars and a mid-19th century shopfront. Inside, there is one ceiling beam with a hollow chamfer. This building is part of a group that includes the Municipal Buildings and Nos 28 to 33.
